The findings have been revealed ahead of the Smarter Payments Summit, which takes place on September 24th, and are based on delegate requirements at the event.
Delegates registering to attend the event were asked which areas they needed to invest in during 2024 and beyond.
AI remains in the top spot compared to 12 months ago, solidifying its place high up on the agenda of industry professionals, while cryptocurrency has fallen out of the top 10 entirely from 5th previously.
